BAM A Cappella Studios is a cutting-edge vocal arrangement company born from the vibrant music scene of Nashville, Tennessee. Emerging from the renowned music program at Belmont University, the BAM team has combined their extensive vocal expertise and creative vision to revolutionize the world of a cappella music.
Our Backstory
Founders Abbi and Brooke first connected in their collegiate a cappella group at Belmont, quickly bonding over a shared passion of intricate vocal harmonies and innovate arrangements. Working side-by-side through their college years and beyond, B & A have curated several ICCA sets, fall showcases, Spotify releases, and more. In 2025, they formalized their vision by founding BAM A Cappella Studios.

We specialize in creating vocal arrangements that turn popular songs and original compositions into captivating a cappella experiences. Our team works closely with high school and collegiate ensembles to create custom arrangements that highlight each group's unique vocal strengths and musical personality.

A passionate arranger and music director, Brooke Barkley is dedicated to elevating vocal performance through innovative compositions and dynamic leadership
A Cappella Expertise
Brooke began her a cappella journey with "An Octave Above," an all-female group at Starrs Mill High School (2016-2020), where she served as president. She later joined Belmont's all-female award-winning group, Intonations, as a soprano, beatboxer, and eventually president. As a primary arranger, she crafted custom arrangements and choreographed numerous ICCA sets for the group.
Arrangement Highlights
Brooke excels in arranging for treble ensembles, having crafted multiple ICCA sets and developed scores and practice tracks for competitive performances. She skillfully transforms popular R&B, alternative pop, and soul tracks into intricate a cappella pieces. One of her favorites, Viva La Vida for Intonations, is available on Spotify.
Musical Direction
Brooke’s music direction experience spans both a cappella and theatrical productions. With Georgia Singers Co., she has led musical performances and choreographed productions such as Annie Jr., Addams Family, Frozen Jr., and SpongeBob The Musical. Additionally, she has music directed Into The Woods and Descendants.
Vocal Performance
At Belmont, Brooke studied classical voice and commercial singing styles, while actively participating in several prestigious vocal ensembles, including performances in Christmas at Belmont. Her notable ensemble experience includes:

Abbi Love




Abbi Love is a skilled a cappella arranger, music director, vocal coach, and recording artist, renowned for her creativity and impact in both the a cappella world, and beyond
A Cappella Expertise
Abbi discovered her passion for a cappella as a founding member of one of Belmont’s first all-female groups, the Intonations. She served as Vice President and Music Director, where she led the group both musically and creatively. As a primary arranger, she composed several pieces, showcasing her ability to craft intricate vocal harmonies. She also served as a competitive soloist, alternate bass, and beatboxer, contributing to the group's success.
Arrangement Highlights
During her time with Intonations, Abbi arranged several pieces, including her standout arrangement of "You Don’t Own Me," which earned the Outstanding Soloist award at the 2023 ICCAs. Her favorite arrangement, "Bass Song," was performed at the 2024 ICCAs and is available on Spotify.
Vocal Direction
Abbi has extensive experience directing vocal ensembles, including serving as Music Director for Intonations (2020-2023) and for the Pops ensemble at Belmont University. In addition to her group leadership, she has been teaching private voice lessons for several years, most recently at Musicville, a studio in Franklin, TN. Her expertise in vocal direction helps musicians refine their technique while fostering artistic creativity.
Vocal Performance
At Belmont University, Abbi studied Commercial Voice with a Vocal Performance Emphasis. She was an active member of Women’s Choir (2019-2020), Pops Ensemble (2020-2023), and Intonations (2021-2023), performing in a variety of genres and showcasing her versatility as a vocalist. As a solo artist, Abbi has played notable venues such as Rocketown in Nashville, TN, The Underground in Cincinnati, Ohio, and more.
